June Classes and Super Heroes

It's my first day back in the studio after our long vacation and I've been working on scheduling classes with Ladybug 'N' Friends in Knob Noster. All classes must be signed up for at least a day in advance. To see examples of student work go to my classes page here.

I'll be teaching Beginners Sewing Machine on June 4th and 23rd from 5-6pm for $10. Students must bring their sewing machine all other materials are included. We run through parts, maintenance, basic how too's, and a wee bit of stitching practice.

I'm teaching Beginners Knitting on June 20th from 10-12pm for $35. All materials are included. We will be working on a scarf and learning basic knit and purl stitches.

I'll be teaching Japanese Quilting or Sashiko on June 27th from 10-12pm for $35. All materials included. We will be making a set of 6 coasters.

Now for something cute. Bea saw a boy at the pharmacy that was wearing a super hero cape. Guess what I made today? A pink super hero cape from a bit of dress lining from my stash bag. A little creative cutting and some quick velcro stitching. I'll try and make her a more finished version later.

And now she's running around with my yarn ball.
