This week has been a blur and I'm not really sure what has actually gotten done.
This past weekend we went out to St. Louis for a very rainy vacation and to pick up my plein air embroidery piece from McKendree University Gallery of Art.
I'm excited to tear it apart and Paverpol the whole thing to make another piece like Moral. Pin tuck is pretty expensive so it's best not to waste it.
The sun has finally come out and the lighting is better in the studio for taking pictures of the pieces I finished at the Art Farm.
I'm just noticing all the pink that I'm using in my work right now. I blame my daughter and her insanely pink wardrobe.
Reading (in actuality just looking at pictures): Fiber: Sculpture 1960-present.
Listening to: A very funny man talk about stars at the St. Louis Planetarium.
Cooking: Cucidati (Sicilian Fig Cookies) - I love love the fig, orange, walnut filling, my daughter doesn't. She eats the top white cookie and frosting part, gives me the filling and then she eats the bottom cookie layer. Children!
